Not sure what to say?

I coached basketball at The Citadel when Charlie was an assistant football coach. His love of life and his desire to make a difference in the lives of the young men he came in contact with was always a inspiration to me and others. RIP my friend.

A Great Guy thats very much MISSED

My deeply heartfelt prayers are with the Rizzo families. I learned only today he had passed. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Just learned you are no longer with us...you were an amazing man. Rest in peace, sweet Charlie.

Charlie and I were freshman together at Auburn coached by Vince Dooley. He was a fun loving guy and we had a wonderful time together. So sorry to hear he has passed.

Some of us from the 23 rd MP Company were visiting and laughing about how much fun we had at West Point. Lt Rizzo was our XO and we had great memories of serving with him. We have just learned that he passed away and we want to express to his family our condolences and we will always remember him.

Lucky me, Charlie reached out to me as he knew I was fighting cancer. His fun thoughtful loving texts, meant to much to me. And I am so sad to lose him as my friend

God bless you Coach. It was an honor to know you and be mentored by you while you were at William and Mary. You have made a lasting impact on me and I am a better man for knowing you. Thank you. Love you.

GOD SPEED CHARLIE!
