Charlie Floyd Russell, 95, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road. Interment: Benbrook Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Floyd was born March 15, 1919, in Stroud, Okla., and grew up in Ranger. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from General Dynamics after 37 years. Floyd was a member of First Baptist Church of Benbrook. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Maxine; brother, Orval Lee Russell; and granddaughter, Misty Ann Russell. Survivors: Son, Larry Floyd Russell of Benbrook; daughter, Linda Kirchenbauer and husband, Ron, of Southlake; grandchildren, Troy and Steven Kirchenbauer; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Beggs; and many loving friends.
