To the family of Charlie Thomas. I was a little girl living with aunts and uncles who were teenagers during this era. What a privilege it’s been to be exposed to the talent of the Drifters. Once again the world has lost another music legend. My husband was a Doo Wop music buff who truly loved and enjoyed that era of music. He introduced me to the music of the Drifters, the Spaniels, Stormy Weather and so many other artists that came along during a time when crooner music was phenomenal.
