Not sure what to say?

Charlie Weaver was a wonderful man, so very rich in character. Had the pleasure of floating the PM, Muskegon R. & Upper Manistee R. w/ Charlie...

I met this wonderful man online, through Sierra club and birding. I have found where he told me to see the Sandhill Cranes (over 1,000)! We had a love of nature, the environment, and teaching in common, along with the reason for leaving education. I wish I had met him sooner.

Farewell fellow BankBeaver and Sage.Thank you for being you! I'll never for the times we spent together. The rest of the original BankBeaver's are waiting with open arms at the Mecum Bar for you! Tight Lines my friend!

I am so glad to read Charlie found and lived his passion later in life. Rest in Peace Mr Weaver. I substituted for him at Tappan.

My son and I were lucky to have spent many days on the PM fishing and hanging out with Charlie. I truly wish we could have one more float down the PM. A very thoughtful and intelligent man that I enjoyed spending time with. Lee & Wayne Adams

Charlie was an incredible person, guide, birder and singer. I´ll never forget the times in the water or the times I had the privilege to attend many of his musical settings. Charlie you had a heart of gold. You are missed by many.

Rest in Paradise Sir

A great friend and mentor! He was also a well known guide/musician over here on the west side operating on the Pere Marquette River and often times singing in taverns. He will be missed by many in Baldwin and the surrounding area as well... I´ll just bet the birds are singing for him now while he´s catching a trout!

lucky enough to spend time with Charlie in the 1980s. We canoed down the Manistee on a 10 degree day in late December during a snow storm. On another trip, he showed me my first short-eared owl. I miss him.
