Charlie Wright passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Kenneth and Gail Wright on February 3, 1957. In 1987 Charlie married Louanne Rowlett. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kim Martin and Cindi Chism Brown, and niece Toni Chism.  Charlie is survived by his wife Louanne, children Lauren Watkins, Justin Watkins, and Annie Johnson, brother in-law Ed Martin, as well as his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Charlie grew up in Denton and graduated from Denton Senior High School in 1975. He had a passion for cars and worked most of his life in the auto industry. He always had smile on his face and made many friends throughout his life.


 


A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at DeBerry Funeral Home.
