Charline Hamblin McCombs

Charlene McCombs was the most Beautiful Lady I ever met in my life! I was 12 years old when the McComb's family bought a lake house two doors down from mine in the late 1950's. They were wonderful to me and accepted me into the family's lake activities. My heart aches for Mr. Red and the family. To the family of Charline McCombs, There are no words of consolation that will change the grief you all are feeling. But rest assured that her legacy will brighten many lives. Charline and Red are synonymous with this beautiful City of San Antonio. They are loved, respected, and greatly valued in San Antonio. May Charline rest in peace.

I am grateful for all the McCombs family has contributed to my education and career, as a McCombs Alumni and McCombs employee. Bless Charline's soul and may she rest in peace. I wish her family comfort knowing her legacy lives on through the lives of the many people her generosity has impacted.
