Charlotte Easton Baker
April 21, 1941 - March 23, 2023
Raleigh, North Carolina - Charlotte Easton Baker, 81, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Charlotte was born in Oxford, NC to the late, Cameron Herndon Easton and Frances Landis Easton. Charlotte graduated from J.F. Webb High School in Oxford, NC and attended Peace College in Raleigh.
She was retired from Electrical Equipment Company in Raleigh, after over 20 years of service. She was an active and dedicated member of Saint Michael's Episcopal Church in Raleigh, where she served as a volunteer for many different ministries. Charlotte was also a volunteer at Rex Hospital Cancer Center and for the American Red Cross.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Easton.
Surviving is her son, Mark "Kit" Baker of Raleigh; a brother, Cameron Easton of Fayetteville, NC; and three nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Michael's Episcopal Church, on Wednesday, April 5th at 12:15 pm. A reception will follow the service at Saint Michael's.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlotte's memory may be made to Saint Michael's Episcopal Church, 1520 Canterbury Rd., Raleigh, North Carolina 27608.
