Not sure what to say?

It is not often one can remember people with such great warmth a year after they have left us. Charlotte had the gift of kindness and shared it with all of us.

I'll miss talking with my neighbor and fellow Mets fan May she find peace and joy in her new home.

We remember Charlotte Clark who joined the rest of her ancestors on October 2, 2021. Vai con Dio, Auntie Char. You and I sang Amazing Grace when MOM Clark died and it remains the song we share....Sing it for you now...Go in peace...memories remain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Obp-9BEZe1c

Sent: Saturday, October 16, 2021, 10:05:53 AM EDT Subject: Charlotte I have known Charlotte and her mom, dad, and brother for many years. we met in high school and although she went on to a private school, we remained friends. we both enjoyed movies and the two of us went on our first trip abroad to England in '69. It is difficult losing a friend of many years but I thank God our path crossed. My condolences to the family. She loved all of you. Carole J. Witkowski

With the fondest memories of your great friendship to my mother and myself and all those who knew you. You stay with us always.

Thank you for letting me know. Charlote and I went to Simpson together. Charlotte introduced me to the lady who ran the music store where I bought all of my music while at Simpson. (I was a voice major). I have notified the Alumni Association of her passing and included a link to her obituary. Charlotte and I used to go to visit her grandmother for tea and talk, then go to explore in the music shop there in Des Moines. We re-connected through Facebook and enjoyed talking about cats and...

Miss Clark was my favorite librarian growing up and I looked forward to seeing her on our frequent trips to the library. I credit her with showing me the vast worlds that reading opens and for that I am so grateful. We kept in touch by letter each year at Christmas and I always looked forward to her card. I will miss her. She was a true blessing to this world.

I'm so sorry to hear this tragic news. I met Charlotte very early on in my own career at Queens Library, and our professional paths crossed many times over the years. I always knew her to be kind, sweet, warm, intelligent, encouraging, and possessed of a good sense of humor. I'm certain she will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and work with her.
