I think of my friend and mentor often. She contributed to my young professional development and enriched my life. I miss her very much. May perpetual light shine on her!

Charlotte was an angel in my life! I met Charlotte when she was Director of Respiratory Therapy. I was a little frantic when I met her. I had just become a single parent of three very young children. I hadn´t worked as a respiratory therapist in 6 years, as I was becoming the mom of those three! I was very insecure and vulnerable. Things change quickly in my field and I felt out of touch. I am so very sad to learn of Charlottes passing. My husband Rick and I spent many fun times together with Charlotte and Will when they were living in NY. I am so sorry to just have learned this sad news. Charlotte was an outstanding friend and mentor to me. She hired me on at the VA and promoted me to Assistant Chief where I served under her leadership. She taught me a great deal and I still credit her with many of my career successes as she provided me with such good council.
