KLEE, Charlotte Rae "Rae" - Of Grand Blanc, age 78, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 10:30AM Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain, from Heartland Hospice, Allen Schweizer officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday, 10AM-8PM Thursday and 9:30AM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Charlotte was born in Alpena, Michigan on August 11, 1929, the daughter of Henry Durland "Joe" and Leone Grace (Brobeck) Jacobs and was a resident of Grand Blanc most of her life. On October 5, 1946 she married Don Klee and he preceded her in death in September, 1991. She was a member of the Antique Car Club in Flint and the Buick Car Club. She restored antique cars with her husband for many years. She was a very good neighbor and friend. Mrs. Klee was a Nurse at Hurley Hospital in the Coronary Care for many years, retiring in 1975. Surviving are sister, Carrie Jenkins; nephews, Tom Jenkins and Charles Jenkins; niece, Marion Lynch; godson, Rick (Dawn) Goodman; like a daughter, Vicki (Bob)Barton; many nieces and nephews.
