Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Aunt Charlotte will be greatly missed but never forgotten.....

Charlotte used to call me her eyes. We had many delightful conversations and shared stories of earlier times. She was a joy to work with and I considered her a true friend.
We will surely miss her.

I am proud to have been called "Charlotte" for the last 53 years...My grandmother, Ninnie, grandfather, Big Daddy and my parents have all called me that, even though my name is Dana. They all said I was just like her. That is a huge compliment...she was a leader, smart, articulate, funny, pretty and mostly shared all she had with her fellow man. She was a good daughter,a good sister, a good wife, and a good mother, grandmother and great grandmother...I hope the same is said of me someday. ...

I am proud to have been her friend.
The 3 musketeers will still live on with her in our fondest memories.
She is still happy and at peace. I know she will be greatly missed.

I have many memories as a child with Ms. Parrish. She was very kind to all the kids in the neighborhood.

A list of my fondest childhood memories would certainly be incomplete without including the summer vacations that my family took to Kentucky. It was then that I recall being mesmerized by Aunt Charlotte's impeccable memory and unwavering pride in her heritage. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

We will miss Charlotte immensely. She was loved by so so many. My family extends prayers to the entire Parrish family, the news herald/beacon family, the countless friends and supporters of Ms. Charlotte.
With Deepest Sympathy,
