Charlotte Ann Spandau
1935-2022
Charlotte Ann Harris Spandau, age 86 died April 8, 2022. Born on September 28, 1935, Charlotte moved to Houston at age six months where she remained until her death. She was predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Henda Harris and her husband of 52 years, Edward W. Spandau. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Spandau Harris and husband David Harris, Julie Spandau Schwarz and husband Dave Schwarz, three grandsons, Brian Harris and wife Jamie Harris, Kevin Schwarz, Eddie Schwarz, great-granddaughter, Charlotte Mae Harris, all of the Houston area, her sister, Wanda Harris Kahlden and husband John Kahlden of Fort Worth, sister-in-law, Nancy Spandau Pickett of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte graduated in 1953 from San Jacinto High School in Houston and attended the University of Houston where she was a charter member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. After working several years as a substitute teacher for H.I.S.D., she was employed by South Texas College of Law in Faculty Support for many years. She was a member of Bellaire United Methodist Church and the Seekers Sunday School class. A visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
