Charlotte was a wonderful friend, neighbor, and as Dr. Marks mentioned in his entry, a surrogate mother while I stayed at the apartment on East Ave. I happened to be walking along East Ave with my parents as I was looking for an apartment before I moved to Rochester for my residency. She was our realtor who found us our apartment on Alexander St when my roomates and I were in medical school at U of R in 1969. She became our de facto "mother" and looked over us, fed us, and made sure we 4 guys were ok. I stayed in touch with her until last year and just learned now of her passing when my Christmas card was returned. I will miss her very much. She was a very sweet person

I am so sorry to hear of Charlotte's passing over the weekend. And even more sorry that I missed her services. I lived right underneath Charlotte's apartment on East Ave for six years. She was such a warm and kind soul, with an amazing sense of humor.

I spoke with Charlotte many times when she came in or called GRAR. She was a sweet and always pleasant person and I enjoyed conversing with her every time. She will be in my prayers.

Thank you, Charlotte for your friendship. I will miss you. So many good memories of you being such a good person over 15 years as friends. You stayed strong and won good battles. You were the Movie Star.
