Not sure what to say?

I was very saddened to hear of Docs death. He was my doctor and someone I loved and respected He was a good friend to my fakther Stanley Edgeworth. I will be praying for all of you Sandra

Over here in Tennessee, my sisters and I were surprised to learn of the recent passing of "Cousin" Charlton deSaussure, Sr. I personally had the pleasure of getting reaquinted with Dr. deSaussure by phone just 5 weeks ago. The City of Charleston, his close family and his extended family will miss this southern gentelman and scholar.

Uncle Charlton will be greatly missed by so many family and friends. He gave so much to so many. My prayers are with his beloved family.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. deSaussure. Our hearts go out to his wonderful family who represent him and his legacy so well.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. deSaussure. The medical community of Charleston was blessed to have a physician of his knowledge, skill, and dedication.

Dr. DeSaussure epitomized the Gentleman and Scholar. His educational, professional and personal accomplishments have set the highest standard of excellence and we are grateful for his many contributions to Charleston and our Medical School. It has been a privilege getting to know him better in the last several years of his life, the man who cared for my parents, and who serves eternally as an icon for our medical students.

Though we only know of Charlton through his well-lived life revealed to us by Richard III, we know his greatness shines through all who have met and were loved by him. May all the wonderful memories of him bring you comfort during this difficult time and his legend live on forever.
Love,
Anne and Edward

Uncle Charlton will be missed by a very large and extended family.

Charlton took care of my mother when she lived in Charleston and for that we will be eternally grateful. He will be missed by all who knew him.
