I remember so many times we were together as a family and Cheri would always do her best to be there.

She really loved her boys and her grandchildren. When I had children she was so interested in everything about them. She would always send Christmas cards, even when we were in Hawaii.

It took me a few years to realize what a great person she really was and I will miss her. She always had the most intersting stories about where she had lived...

Cheri was a devoted, loving, passionate mother and grandmother, and a wonderful, dedicated elementary school teacher.
We were fortunate to live in Virginia Beach, close to Cheri in 2002 and she was able to share in some of her grandchildren's best years (Colin age 1 and Teagan age 5, at that time) .
