I have only just found and purchased a copy of the book "The Man Who Saved The V8" written by Mr. Chase Morsey Jr. and have not yet finished reading his marvelous story.
I was really hoping to get in touch so started my inquiry on the Web bringing me to this sad story and the loss of a wonderfully brilliant man.
His writtings in the book are so sincere and full of his spark for his life and the Ford V8 which he loved so much.
I am a 68 year old V8 lover and Hot Rodding supporter...

Chase was one of the best persons you could ever meet, a very kind gentleman. HE was very good to my father Fred Pennie. who caddied for him at ELDORADO COUNTRY CLUB, Indian wells, ca. rest in peace !!

Chase... the kindest, sweetest, most knowledgeable and generous person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing for the past 40 years. He and his "Beverly" have been a great inspiration in my life and have given me memories I will cherish forever. Thank you for allowing me to be such a small part of yours.
