I first met Chastity at Decatur EMS while doing rotations to receive my EMT-B license. I enjoyed just being around her. I was then graced with the wonderful opportunity of working with her at Greg's Ambulance Service. She was an amazing Paramedic and a great friend. She loved helping others and will be greatly missed.

I could never put into words exactly what you meant to me, because there are no words and not enough time to truly give you the credit you deserve. You were truly my inspiration not only as to the kind of EMT I wanted to be but more importantly to the type of friend I wanted to be. I wish that everyone could be blessed with just one true friend like you were to me. Not only were you my friend but you were also my sister. I dont know the reason why your gone nor do i want to know but i know...

It has been a long time since I've spoken to any of you or since I saw Chastity, but I wondered from time to time where life has taken you. I am glad to see that you accomplished so much in your life. I just wanted to send my condolances to your family. The loss of a love never truly heals and my heart goes out to all of you at this time of great sorrow. You will be in my prayers.

I work at Decatur General Emergency Department and on the day I found out this had happened I was in complete shock. Chastity will always be remembered to me because my 4 yr old daughter always like to kiss on her son. It was too funny. She accomplished so much in the short time on this Earth but we are all blessed that we got to be in her life. She was an amazing Paramedic and an amazing friend. It won't be the same with out her coming through those ER doors. My prayers are with her family...
