So sorry for your loss. He was my advisor at AIC, a good friend of my parents, David Nirenstein and Ruth Sher Nirenstein, and a kind gentle man. I remember him telling the class that all the world needed was a little peace. I am thinking of him now, and his entire family.

Dearest Bail, Pam and T.J., My deepest sympathy to you and your loved ones. Trust that I feel the weight of your loss. I am comforted knowing that your father is reunited with the love of his life and his Brother Mike. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My sincere condolences to Pam and Bali on the passing of your wonderful father. Dr. Chattar Samra was a dedicated educator who patiently helped me to understand the region. I admired him greatly also for his family stories of his grandparents. I have spoken highly of him for the past 25 years.
