Chavon was my cousin but felt like more than that, she had a smile that could light up everyone even me. She would come into my house smiling and giving me the best hug i ever received in my life . It hurts to know that the last moment was her coming to my house ever again and then months later we got a heartbreaking call that she was in the hospital. I woke up the next morning to my auntie crying and I asked her what´s wrong and she told me Chavon died, it was like my bestfriend, my 2nd mom...

I wish we had more time. My memories of our childhood gets me through some of the tough times. I love you always. -Layisha
