Dr. Chenault William Hailey

Our family was saddened to hear of Dr.Hailey´s passing. He was such a wonderful doctor to me, my husband and our three sons for over 30 years until he retired. He encouraged me to shave my face in my early 30´s, and I still do it now in my 70´s. I just found out Dr Hailey had passed away. For many years we made the trip to see the wonderful Dr Hailey. Along with many friends in South Carolina we depended on this remarkable man. We were all so very blessed.

Dr Hailey was a remarkable man. I first saw him when I was 17.He was kind and patiently taught me about caring for my skin,I still look very young thanks to him ! My whole family went to him after I did ! Thank you for being such a caring and kind man !!!!

I started seeing Dt Hailey in 1980 he was such a great dermatologist! He could take one look at your skin and tell you what was wrong and how to take care of the problem. Prayers to your family!

My first interaction was as a child of 6. My thoracic surgeon thought I was a mess with all the skin lesions. His office was closed. He was preparing to go to a football game. I was referred to Dr. Hailey when I moved here 32 years ago here from Birmingham AL. He was so sweet and always took an interest in my life since I was young and had no family here. I still shave my face because that is what Dr. Hailey told me to do. He had a name and a reputation that you couldn’t forget. I was so fortunate to have known Chenault as the kind, gentle, accomplished person and loving husband to Elaine that he was. So pleased to have vacationed with Elaine and Chenault in Virginia several years ago. They were so lovely together and just a fun couple-Memories! Chenault was so devoted to Elaine and since, Elaine has spent almost every day with Chenault until the virus kept them apart.
