Not sure what to say?

Cheri Ann served as a long term professional secretary to my dad, Julian Cheatham, helping him build his career at Georgia Pacific Corp and later with his shopping center investments. Always knowledgable and helpful, I will remember her fondly.

Cheri Ann and I met as clarinet students of Owen Sanders when we were freshmen in high school, I from Washington and Cheri Ann from Jefferson. We played in All City Band together. She was a good friend and we kept in touch for over 50 years even though I moved to California. I was happy to hear of her marriage to John Richards, also a friend of mine. I have a picture of the two of us playing our clarinets in the rain while rehearsing for the high school football jamboree. This was...

Cheri Ann and I went to Jefferson High and we both played in the band and orchestra. I remember Cheri Ann as quiet, kind and always ready to smile.

We treasured you as a wonderful friend, musician and brilliant scholar.

Cheri Ann was a mentor to me when I was music librarian for the Peter Britt Music Festival Orchestra. James DePriest was music director of Britt at the time and the Oregon Symphony loaned orchestral parts to the festival. Cheri Ann was very generous with her time and advice and I greatly valued her friendship as well. I will miss her.

A Friend among friends, a person of much energy and many responsibilities, a heart for helping others, a person of generosity and support when needed, an encourager, someone who shared her gifts and talents, a practitioner of her faith and someone whose passing leaves emptiness from loss and thanksgiving for memories.

Offering my prayers and thoughts to the family and will remember how SWEETand thoughtful Cheri was with Bob and our children
