Cherie was a great nurse and warrior. She was one of the first 10 women to join the 128th Air National Guard and stay to retirement. She paved the way for many women after her. She loved horses and taking care of others. She will be missed. Our prayers are with her family. Randy and Mary Jo Meier

My heartfelt condolences go out to Cheri's family. I worked with Cheri, as I was a Children's transport nurse. She was one of the BEST flight nurses - I felt totally confident when she was with the Children's team. Through this connection, she encouraged me to join the 128th Medical Group (WI ANG) when I needed to find a new military home. I am ever thankful for that.
