Heartfelt sympathy to the family. God has received a wonderful, most amazing angel.

So saddened to hear of Cherlyn's passing. She was an inspirational chemist with a measured, wise, style and a quick smile. I will miss working with her and send sincere condolences and prayers to her family.

I went to high school with Cherlyn. We were in many classes together and were friends. I've thought of her many times over the years-- that sweet nature, lovely smile, quiet intelligent ways and sense of humor. Glad she enjoyed much success, friends, and retirement! God Bless!

I was so sorry to hear of her death I was hoping that she would survive her illness. She will be missed by our fellow National ACS friends and colleagues. Her story is immortalized since her oral history is at the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia.

I worked with Cherlyn for many years, such a kind and caring lady.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of Cherlyn. Though we were not able to spend much time together, being one of my first cousins, I know family was important to her. I remember her telling me about some of the family events in Chicago and she supported family. Cherlyn traveled all over but she made certain to travel to Nebraska and Colorado to participate in our family reunions. Such a wonderful person. So sad that she has passed away. She was always so straightforward but always with a smile. I collaborated with her on several ACS committees. She was so committed to the cause. I will miss her smile. I will miss having her support of the things she believed in. She will be missed.

I went to grade school with Cherlyn in Maywood and I think all her fellow classmates knew she would "go far" in an career she chose. I have fond memories of our time together. I was so sad to hear of her passing.
