Cherry Lee Artis

Cherry Lee Artis, born on November 29, 1936, to the late Lillian Lay Ballard and the late Harry Winston, passed away at age 82 on April 1, 2019 in Newcomb, Tennessee. Cherry was the loving wife of the late Charles Artis Jr.. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Louis Ballard. Cherry is survived by her daughters, Ronda Collins and Journee; sister, Carolyn Jean Bennett; grandchildren, Dylan Collins and Dakota Collins; and nieces, Vicki Ray and Tracy Morgan. She was a prayer group member at Newcomb Baptist Church. Friends and family can attend the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Scott Kennedy,.
