Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl and her family. I didn't realize that she had become a life-long leader of Girl Scouts! When I learned of her passing, I skimmed my old scrapbook to review wonderful memories of a 1961 trip to Savannah, Georgia, and Washington, DC, that Cheryl and the rest of our Girl Scout troop took in 1961. Dear Lord, please watch over your servant Cheryl as she continues to be an inspiration to others.

Girl Scouts together; that is our song, winding the old trails, rocky and long.... for all the wonderful times we had from 7th grade to Jeff & Columbian Park. She was a blessing to all whose lives she touched, selfless & gentle. May God continue to bless her family as He blessed her.

Gods blessing to Kim and Jeremy! Hugs to you both! Your angel will forever be watching over you and your families. Very sorry for your loss...

My condolences to the Byer Family. She will be greatly missed here at Purdue. Her smile warmed me, even on the worst days. I am truly blessed to have known Cheryl.

It always a pleasure to work with Cherl. She was always so positive and always had a smile for you. She will be greatly missed at Purdue. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sending thoughts of comfort and peace in this difficult time. Cheryl was a lovely person, and her kind spirit will be sorely missed.

I offer my condolences on behalf of the Accounting Services office at IPFW, Purdue's campus in Fort Wayne. Cheryl was an important resource for us. She was was a valued colleague and we will miss her expertise.

Cheryl has been our tax lady for the last 20 years and we missed her this year.
We are sorry for your loss of such a wonderful human being.

at the gold award ceremony

Sending lots of prayers to the family. Cheryl was my girl scout leader and helped me earn my Gold and Silver Award. I am very thankful that she helped encourage me to earn the two highest awards in girl scouting. She was an amazing leader and true inspiration to me. She will be missed dearly. I will never forget hiking at Sycamore or Camp Talitha singing out "ladies ladies don't be shy"!
