Resident of San Jose
Cheryl Lynn Davidson passed away May 17 after a long illness. She was born and raised in San Jose and spent her entire life in the Willow Glen Area of San Jose. She attended River Glen Elementary, Markham Jr. High, Willow Glen High and San Jose State. Her strength and determination extended her life beyond the doctor's expectation.
She is survived by her son Gavin August Davidson, her parents Charles and Anita Davidson, her brother Bill Davidson, her sisters Sandra and Stephanie Davidson, plus 3 nieces and a nephew and numerous other relatives. Cheryl's love and compassion will be missed by everyone who knew her. Her love of life and family is a tribute to her life. Her laughter was infectious and her sense of humor contagious.
Internment will be private and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later time. If anyone desires, a donation may be made in Cheryl's name to the Humane Society, Silicon Valley, 901 Ames Avenue, Milpitas, CA. 95035

I remember the last time I talked to Cheryl Davidson. Her name popped up in two of my lists. One from Willow Glen High School class of 1976 and one from Pioneer High School class of 1978. She confirmed that she was the one from Willow Glen. I also talked to her at that reunion. She was very sweet not to mention very pretty also. It is hard for me to take her our of the reunion mailing list. I haven't done it yet because I still have not come to terms with her passing.

I am so sorry to hear this I went to Jr. high and high School with Cheryl .and had ran into her years ago and had a great talk with her . she will be very missed! it's HARD TO LOSE A LOVED ONE. & she loved the Animals :o).

I can hardly believe Cheryl has passed, and can only imagine the shock and grief her family is going through. Cheryl was an enchanting, generous person with a beautiful soft voice and touch. And yes, she could talk to animals. My heart is especially broken for her young son, Gavin, who she considered her most precious gift. Many blessings to the entire Davidson clan.

I am a '76 classmate of Cheryl and I too remember her gigantic smile! After graduation I ran into her in college and she was still beaming with that great big smile of hers! Although, I have not seen her in years I still remember her and that great BIG SMILE! My prayers, my condolences to her family and friends.

I knew Cheryl all the way from River Glen elem, we were the two blonde Cheryls with the same spelling even. I am very sorry to hear about this loss to her family and a lot of our class is on FB now and we are very sorry to have lost another wonderful classmate. So sorry again to her family.
