Not sure what to say?

Cheryl, words can't describe the emptiness I nor the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (BCRI) family feel due to the sudden and untimely loss of (you) a co-worker, and a friend. Arriving to work each day and passing by your empty desk hoping to see you and your beautiful smile that would always greet me....It hurts deeply. Somehow knowing that you are on the other side gives me an inner sense of peace, because now I know that I have an angel forever watching over me. My thoughts and prayers...

My blessing are with the family as they go through this hard time. We have lost another beautiful yellow rose and she will be missed greatly. She has gone to a better place. EEE-YIP Soror RIP. Former Xi Mu member and Current Chi Sigma member

I knew Cheryl from the BHM Intl Center. I will miss her. She was my friend.

It was quite a shock to here and know that a Soror has made the journey to Omega Rho. Peace be with you and to the family may God bless you all. She has transcended to a better place and may we one day see her beautiful smile again. Till we meet again my beautiful Soror . EEYIPP MY SOROR EEYIPP

I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Cheryl. I know how difficult this must be for your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Cheryl was such a kind, gentle soul. She would do anything to help someone in need (Murphy High Classmate/Alum). May God bless you and your family during this time and always. Be Blessed.

Besides being cousins, we share another bond; we are sorors of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority,Inc.
Another beautiful "Yellow Tea Rose" has gone to be in God's beautiful garden.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.Cheryl and I are sorority sisters(Sigma Gamma Rho). This is from the family of the late Sammie & Dester Richardson.

I shall miss you my dear friend. We spent many hours talking and laughing together at BIC and I shall always cherish those memories. One memory is very special to me, your laughter as we took that ride on the motorcycle. My thoughts and my prayers are with your family.

This was a complete surprise to everyone. In the short time I knew you, you made a lasting impact on me and the rest of the BCRI family. We love you and pray that God's love and mercy comforts your family and those who loved you dearly. God bless.
