I met Cheryl when we attended nursing school at Washburn University and we developed a bond. We spoke each night on the phone. We kept in contact even after she moved to Minnesota. We reunited when she moved back to Topeka for a short time and spoke almost every day. After she moved from Topeka we lost contact but I thought of her often. This morning she was on my mind and I decided to see if Cheryl was on Facebook hoping to connect with her...

I worked with Cheryl in Houston. When she rounded on my assigned unit, she always had time to smile, sit down and chat. She was a beautiful , positive person, someone who inspired me to live a happier, more fulfilling life.
