I am so sorry to read of Cheryl's passing.

I am so very sorry to learn of Cheryl´s passing! Cheryl and I were friends in junior high and high school in Philadelphia! Our parents were longtime friends as her dad, Izzy, and my dad, Bernie, were friends in their single days! I remember being at the Miller house in Overbrook Park for parties when we were teenagers! Cheryl was a pillar of strength, not recognized enough, raising two boys on her own after the unimaginable loss of her husband when they were just 13 and 11. Outnumbered but never outmatched, she guided them with unwavering love, a firm hand when needed, and an unshakable dedication to their well-being. She carried the weight of their world, and while she didn´t always hide the struggles, she found joy in the love of her pets and, ultimately, in the lives of her boys as young men, fathers,...

I didn´t know Cheryl directly, but the character of her son Scott speaks to her legacy and tells me that she was a tremendous mother and person. Rest in peace.

I feel lucky to have known her, RIP. Thinking of you all.
