Sister Cheryl Hicklin, daughter of the late Deacon Thomas and Mother Lucille Hicklin was born August 4, 1969 in Charlotte NC. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.


Sister Cheryl Hicklin spent all of her formative years and young adult life as a member of New Bethel Church. She was a member of the Youth choir, Adult Choir and Beautification Team. She graduated from Myers Park High School in 1988. She was loved by all who knew her. She had a quiet gentle spirit that resonated with everyone she encountered.


She was preceded in death by one older brother Thomas Hicklin Jr.


She leaves to cherish her memory 5 brothers: Donald Hicklin (Juanita), Reginald Hicklin, Johnny Hicklin, her twin, Terrel Hicklin (Rochelle), and Kenneth Hicklin (Shalan). 4 Sisters: Toniette Hicklin, Patricia Hicklin, Daphne Hicklin Jordan (Raymond) and Beverly Hicklin. 2 uncles: Bishop Daniel Hicklin and Elmore Hicklin (Beverly). 3 Aunts: Mother Annie Canty, Apostle Bernice Davis (Walter), and Joyce Ann Davis (Harry). 6 nephews: Reginald, Raymond (Brittany), Dwayne, Devore, Donald Jr., Jordan and Kenneth Jr. 13 nieces: Shaunda (Cortez), Danielle, LaDonna (Kenroy), Brittany, Courtney, Sherrikka (Jerrod), Vontavia, Kyetra, Terchelle, Whitney, Tatyani, Kenya, and Santavia. One sister-cousin: ShaRhonda Joins (Gerald). 14 great nieces and nephews and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
