Cheryl was my foster mother for nearly 4 years during my teens. She was the first person to ever teach me about self love and my value in the Universe. She remains an example of unconditional love and acceptance, entrepreneurship, and the belief in the greater good in others and that we all can make a difference. I love you and miss you mom!

Cheryl lived next door to my grandparents on Ogden Street when I was a child. My grandmother loved her like one of her own. The Bonds and Fugle families were very close way back then, and my cousins and I loved playing with her. I'm sorry we lost touch. My deepest sympathy.

Cheryl Friend, neighbor, source of boundless energy and beautiful smiles.I will always remember our talks over the back fence or sitting in the grass enjoying our beautiful hillside view. I will never can another pear or plum without thinking of you and our assembly line fruit canning marathons in your kitchen. I will miss you so much. I know God will hold you in his hand. Thanks for being my good neighbor for 22 years.

Cheryl was one of the most courageous and gifted women I have known, protecting her family and home, fighting for her health, upholding our American freedoms, cherishing her faith. May God Bless her as she travels homeward and may God protect her family and keep them safe. I just know she will be a bright star in the heavens twinkling down to guide their path, locked safely in their hearts forever. You are all in my prayers with love. Christine Tandy
