Not sure what to say?

I was a pregnant teen when I went to talk to Rev. Cheryl. She was my preacher at Bandera, Tx Methodist Church. She was kind and loving. She accepted me in the fullest. I was thinking about her tonight and found her obituary. I am so saddened by this. I was hoping to contact her and tell her my son is now 19 and living on his own, happy, healthy and safe. She believed in me. Now I wish I could tell her how much her belief in me helped through out the years. Rest in peace Rev.Cheryl Owens

The girls before Momma got sick.

Cheryl, my Pastor, my friend. I have not the words to express my gratitude for all she taught me about my faith. I surprised her once by prayer asking God to "hold me in His Grace"; said she had not thought of Grace that way before. She would never have thought to correct me. She baptized both our daughters.

Thank you for raising such a wonderful daughter, Angela, she is your light that still shines on.

My condolences go to the family and friends. Losing a loved one can be hard, but our special memories of them help us to cope. May the God of all Comfort, bring you peace during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. I was in the Trinity UMC youth group when Cheryl was a sponsor/youth director. I have so many wonderful memories of our fun times together. My prayers are with your family.
