I grew up with Cheryl on Deer Isle, Maine. We graduated from high school in 1966. I remember a time Cheryl invited me to her home after school we ate hamburgers and went to a school event. It was special.

Mr. Schmidt, I am just learning of Cheryl's passing. I am extremely sad to see this,also glad she is in Heaven and no longer suffering. I will miss her smile,loving and caring ways . Bob, I am so sorry for your terrible loss. My most memorable thought was when We attended a Karaoke night and I heard Cheryl sing a touching song to you, "Wind Beneath My Wings". Whenever I hear that song I'll be thinking of you both. Connie also sends her thoughts and prayers to you.
