Cheryl Denise Thomas, 51, entered into eternal peace after a long battle with Breast Cancer on Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Virginia Commonwealth University MCV Hospital in Richmond, VA.
Cheryl was born on May 7, 1964 in Montpelier, Virginia. She is the daughter of Lillian I. Thomas and devoted Step-Father Robert Graham. Cheryl graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia. After graduating top of her class, she later attended Career Training School, where she studied to be an Accountant. Upon graduation, Cheryl put her Accounting skills to great use working as at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia in the Account Management Office. This was a career she found tremendous joy in every day. She worked at Thalhiemers Wearhouse, Disco Sports, Rite Aid and RMC. Cheryl pride and joy are her two daughters LaKisha and Shajuan Thomas.
In Cheryl?s spare times she enjoyed working on her arts and crafts and visiting local flea markets and thrift shops. She loved traveling and sightseeing with her family on vacations. She took trips many trips around the United States to Florida, Las Vegas, Maryland, (List any other places she visited). Cheryl was a kind and warm woman; she had a loving and generous heart, always giving to others.
She was predeceased by her beloved Brother Richard Thomas.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her Mother Lillian I. Thomas and devoted Step-Father Robert Graham; daughters LaKisha Thomas (husband Tracey Fowlkes) and Shajuan Thomas; grand-children Key?Drell Thomas and Ky?Mani Fowlkes; brother Keith Thomas; uncles Darryl (Rosalind), Alton (Donna), Earnest, Andrew, Reggie (deeya) and Johnnie (Barbara); her aunts Rose, Mary, Edna (Gorge), Wanda (Tony), Bessie, Brenda and Marva; nieces Kiara, KeAsia, Darneka and Tiara; nephews Shawne, Kevin and Dontae; her sister-in-law Tracy Thomas; her God Mother Beverly Williams; her god daughter Robin Mallory; devoted friends Mavis and Angie and numerous friends and loved ones.

I will truely miss my cousin Cheryl.She was more like an aunt than a cousin.She was one of the most sweetest and loving women I know.So fly high my angel I will never forget you or stop loving you.
