Not sure what to say?

Dear Doris, CV, Wes and Dana, my heartfelt prayers and sympathies go out to you all at the loss of your husband and father. Though we haven't seen each other in years, Uncle Chesley always held a very special place in my heart. He was always so gentle & kind to me when he'd come up to the house and hang out with dad in the garage, just puttering around. And that wonderful, wickedly handsome grin! What a heart-breaker!! :-) God give each of you peace & comfort and may you feel His loving arms...

Chesley Van was my cousin.
I know he will be greatly missed, but just know that he is with some pretty fantastic family now. I know they were really surprised by him showing up so young, but they were also excited to be reunited with him as they welcomed him at the Golden Gates.
I was always impressed by that Hard hat he had, I'm sure it was put to good use.
He had the cutest smile that reached his eyes and made them sparkle.
My heart goes out to Bonnie, Billy,...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

My thoughts and prayers are with you Doris and the kids, and my cousins, aunts and uncles who have experienced this loss; I miss all of you. ChiChi was a wonderful uncle, always smiling. I will never forget his "wicked" sense of humor. I miss my dad too (Wendal Laverne) so I can understand how you feel, Dana. Chesley will be missed. Katie Evans Kennard

My Father was the best man that I've ever known and taught me many things that I will never forget. He will always remain in our memories, hearts and minds. My husband thought of him as a second Dad and our kids loved him very much. Dad!!! We miss you!!!!
