Not sure what to say?

Dear Chester, I know you're gone now, but you'll ne'er be gone from my heart. Sometimes I dream of you all those years ago. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. When I pass, I hope to see you up in heaven and talk to you once more the way I never thought I would be able to again.

This came across my desk on the anniversary. This man made a difference in my life. I'd shake in my boots when he'd come around that was part of his charm. He helped my father too giving him work during the summer.

It is difficult to believe that it has already been a year since we lost you. The last time that we were together was at Dennis Ryan's home when you were replacing the roof on Dennis and Martha's home. Now Dennis is gone and hopefully you two are together and looking down on us and smiling. My hope is that all the pain is gone from both of your bodies and you both are resting in peace. Many including my self mis you so very much. Gary Elliott

Thanks Chet for everything Miss you .Love you ..

It's still hard for me to grasp the concept that you are not coming back and that I won't see you again till it's my time. I want to tell you I'm sorry that we lost touch On and off. We always just assume there will be a next time.
we really never know what tomorrow brings. Unfortunately there wasn't a next time but no matter what I will hold on to the good times.I loved the fact that even if you and I didn't talk for a couple months, we somehow met up we would talk forever and it was...

Chester was my friend for over 40 year's. He saved my bacon more than once. But more than that he taught me to be a better person by always standing your ground when you knew you were right.
At the celebration of his life the most often description of Chet was that he was man of integrity. I will miss him till the day I pass.

Dad.Chester. My sympathies to Chet's family. It's hard to believe that this bulldog of a man is gone. He always faced adversity head on, and never backed down from anything. He was a fatherfigure, a brother, a mentor and teacher, the one who a person could always go to for help, in nany situation. You might have to listen to some hard facts, and a possible butt chewing, but in the end he would provide whatever you required. I owe my success as a businessman, to his teaching, and a helping hand whenever I...

My sympathies to Chet's family. He was like a father, brother mentor, teacher, guidance and marriage counselor, career advisor, amongst all the other descriptions that one man can earn.I gained a wealth of business knowledge in the twenty years I worked for him, that certainly helped me to be successful in my own business. Chet never turned me down when I asked for any kind of help from him, and I will never forget his kindness and generosity over the years. Hearing of his passing almost...
