Norine and Family,
Was just notified of Chester's passing.
Our most heartfelt condolences go out to your entire family. We remember Chester as a clever and fun loving man. Dear Cocozza Family -- I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Chet at the Tribune for a dozen years or more, and was a regular golf partner with him and the late John Blais at Salt Creek -- his affection for playing nine holes existed up north too. Please accept my condolences. -- Mike Esposito

I worked with Chester at the Tribune for several years. He was a great mentor and always had a smile on his face and a great story to tell. He will be missed by many. God Bless him and his family.

God Bless.

He alone was responsible for starting the men s 9 hole league against some opposition I love him telling the story basing it on his strong union & labour background in Chicago
For those of us new into golf &/or not very good yet, the 9 hole league is great
thanks Chester
