Mr. Chester Coleman Jr., 77, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017.
Services will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 1220 Aycock St. in Houma Friday, Jan. 27, 2017. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until Mass service at 11 a.m. Interment at Southdown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Coleman; five children, Rena, Eric, Chester Coleman III, Rashawn McGuire and Stephanie White; two brothers, David (Betty) Coleman and Herman (JoAnn) Coleman; two sisters, Hilda Woodley and Dorothy Murray; one sister-in-law, Diane Coleman; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Chester Coleman Sr.; one son, Deon Coleman; and brother, Berwick Coleman.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Audrey, soo sorry I couldn't be there today but you & your family are in my prayers, keeping you Lifted that you will find the Strength & Comfort you need during this time from God, that only He can give. I will visit when I'm back in town...
