Not sure what to say?

Ralph Lee, Lineman Grade 1, NJ, PSE&G, Retired. I never really had a friend, but Chet came in as the closest. I boated some people to his ceremony. I have never met so many people that I would consider, good, worthy, just...Whatever.. Will [email protected]

Sorry to hear that a good friend has passed on. For 40 years I have collected many great memories of Chet's intelligence, sarcastic wit, contagious humor, thoughtful insights, and independent individuality.
For several months in 1973 we played billiards 3-4 nights per week. Chet beat me almost every game. The party years with Chet were a pleasure as well as the countless evenings he visited at Cornelia and, later, Kimball Avenue. Chet has journeyed into the nature he deeply appreciated.

Our sincere sympathy to Chester's family and friends. John and I spent several weekends with him camping and canoe trips. Yes, it is true he did not want any females on the canoe trips, but we did prove him wrong and he enjoyed the company. God's Blessings to Chester.

Good times with the boys @ Andris's bachelor party!

Hanging with friends in '72

Heartfelt sympathy to Chet's family and friends! What a slew of memories come to mind remembering the good times of our youth. Partying in the early 70's in Birdie's basement, a wonderful fall weekend in Wonder Lake with MANY friends, several canoe trips in Missouri and Arkansas (Chet thought the GIRLS couldn't handle it, but WE proved him wrong), New Years's eve at Pete+ and Inta's which lasted 3 days, and the hospitality he offered us and our 3 small children on a trip thru NH in '89. Chet kept a beautiful home in Merrimack prior to becoming a "year rounder" up at Cow. He will be missed.

From Chet's only sister in law. Chet was passionate about his work and nature, and especially loved the lake his island home was on. He loved talking to my daughters to find out what they were doing with school and their music. He will be missed.
Reidun

My condolences to Chester's loved ones. I knew him way back when he hung around with a group of Latvians. I remember him as a very, very nice guy. So sad he had to go this way. Sounds like he was doing what he loved to do. Good for him. Would love to hear from his girlfriend or wife. Look me up. Thanks.
