Not sure what to say?

Good bye, Uncle Chet. As a kid I always enjoyed it when you threw change into the air. As an adult I always enjoyed your stories.
Joel Hawkins
(aka Mariliea's boy)

We were sorry to here of your loss. Please know that are thoughts and prays are with you and your family.

My condolances to the Kelpinski family. I ran the board at WBCM on Sunday mornings for many years in the late 70's and 80's for Polka Stan and Cheery Chester. I really looked forward to my Sunday mornings with these 2 polka icons and was saddened to hear of Chets passing. Chet and Stan were always great to me and made me feel part of the team! I hope these messages in this guest book bring the Kelpinski family some comfort. Gordon Levine "Mike Gordon" Sunrise Florida. [email protected]

I am sorry that I cannot be with you at this time. Uncle Chet was my godfather and I have many happy memories of him. On my thirteenth birthday he told to listen to his Polka Party All through the program he told stories about the day I was born and things I had done over the years. He was the best Uncle and Godfather a kid could have. Love ya, Uncle Chet!

Sending you our sympathy and prayers in regards to the death of your father. Please know we are here for you if you need anything.

I am one of the many that worked with Chet at Sears and our friendship continuued for many years. Who can forget Chet and Stan on Sunday morning?

I am so sorry we are unable to come to town for Uncle Chet's funeral. I am saddened to hear that he passed away. My many thoughts are with the whole Kelpinski family, especially with you, Aunt Gerry. Hugs and much love to all! Love, Jack and Peggy

I wanted to sign-off with Chet Kelpinski the last time. I was Chet and Stan’s board operator engineer for several years while in High School at WWBC and WXOX Radio 1250 in Bay City back in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Each Sunday morning Chet Kelpinski broadcast the Polka Show to our Bay City, Saginaw, Midland area; every radio was tuned to Chet and Stan’s Polka show.

Chet was the best and was a good friend for many years. It is sad to see him sign-off for the last time but...

I worked with Chet for a number of years in the Bay City Sears store. I send my condolence to Chet's family and close friends.
