Cayce - Services for Chester L. Mack, 87, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Borgkvist, Jr., with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Cayce First Baptist Church, 600 Holland Avenue, Cayce, SC 29033.

Chester Lee Mack, loving husband of Janie Smith Mack , died on Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Lexington Extended Care. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Jesse Lee Mack and Carrie Sturkie Mack. A life long area resident, he was an active member of Cayce First Baptist Church, and retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Company. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Janie S. Mack of Cayce, he is survived by his daughter Melba Lown of Charlotte, NC; sons, Perry Mack, and Tommy Mack of West Columbia; sister, Patsy Latham of West Columbia; grandchildren, Alan Mack, Brian Mack, Philip Lown, and Michael Lown; and great grandchildren, Dalton Mack, Bryanna Mack and Joshua Lown.

Mr. Mack was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Busbee and Margaret Brier; and brothers, Wilson “Bo” Mack, Marvin Mack and Joe Mack.
