Not sure what to say?

Chet was my freshman football coach in 1970. I was terrible. But Chet always treated me (and everyone) with equal amounts of respect. His presence in my life (now nearing 72 years) is something I remember with warmth.

I enjoyed knowing and working with Chet over the years. He was a true gentleman. Worked many gigs with him.

I just Googled Chet McFee out of curiosity and I'm seeing that it has been about 10 years since his passing. I first heard Chet on his Jazz radio program and continued to listen to him daily as I drove to work. The music he played got me pumped up for work while his soothing voice felt like an old friend. Chet was a wonderful inspiration to so many Trinity athletes
and colleagues. It was an honor to know him and gain insight and advice when I came a year after he " retired " . Solid and honorable . A Coach in every way. ..Evan Dobelle

Dear Jeremy,
May the sadness and emptiness you feel now on your grandfathers passing, be replaced soon with laughter and smiles as you recall the special bond that you shared with him. He must have been a true gentleman and extraordinary man. May his memory and love guide you, for he will live forever in your heart. I am thinking of you often sweetie!

I knew Chet for 40 years, working gigs in music with him. He was a friend and a great guy. May he rest in peace.

Have listened to Chet on Friday mornings with anticipation for several years. He hosted one of the best jazz shows in the region.
