Not sure what to say?

Chet was my manager at IBM from 1986 to 1988. Also a good friend. He managed with excellence a team of international assignees from Latin America, and was a real leader. My condolences to Marcia, who I met when Chet invited his IBM team for a barbecue in their brownstone house in Brooklyn. I am really sorry for his death.

I worked with Chet at IBM. Intelligent, intellectual, a leader and my first mentor. A complete gentleman, the best.

I thought I would include my eulogy of Uncle Chet so anyone could read it. You were certainly a one of a kind. We will all miss you deeply and will be with us in our hearts and minds forever!

I have a lot to say to which my uncle would respond “She is her mother’s daughter.” My uncle was a one of a kind- smart, funny and a true gentleman. A loving husband, father and devoted brother. He had the biggest heart and was always there for his family. It was easy to see how much he cared...

Dearest Marcia, Laura, Michael, Terry, Josette, Rich & Ron- all of our thoughts and prayers are with you right now as you say your final goodbyes to sweet Chet. Toni and I will remember his bright eyes, wonderful smile, brilliant mind, easy laugh and tender heart always. I am so very sorry to not be with you all during this sad time to pay proper respects and hold you all close. Please know that I am thinking of you all, sending my love and condolences, and remembering the beautiful times...

Uncle Chet,

You are my best friend and hero. God bless you.

Love always,

Ronald

Chet, you were my best friend. My heart is broken. You were a man of integrity, warmth and humor...the perfect role model to emulate. I will miss you forever.

Love you always
Terry
