Not sure what to say?

Dear Jane,

Marianne and I were sad to read about Cheves in the Boston Globe, and our thoughts are with you now. I remember his wonderful sense of humor with fondness, and of course, the infamous trout hat. We hope to see you when we are in Jaffrey the last week of July.

Love,
Stephen

Dear Jane, Peg and I were very sad to hear of Cheves' passing. He was a wonderful role model and colleague to many of us in Utah Chemistry. I noted in his obituary that his ashes will be spread in various places he loved; I hope southern Utah will be included. Then, hiking in the Utah desert (or skiing at Alta) will allow us to keep in touch with our good friend, Cheves.
Love, Jack and Peg Simons

Offering our deepest condolences at this difficult time.

Jane,
My deepest sympathy to you at this time. You and Cheves were wonderful friends of my folks as well as mine. I remember housing sitting for you in Holladay and a few years ago Mother and I had a great visit with in in Jaffrey.

Jane,
I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Wallings passing. He was my first and my favorite client at Merrill Lynch. He was a wonderful gentleman and always treated me with kindness and respect.

Jane,

My deepest sympathy on Cheves passing. He was a wonderful man who lived life to the fullest. I'll always feel lucky to have known him. If I can help in any way don't hesitate to call on me.

Regards,
Dave
