Not sure what to say?

I took a course in Chinese history with Professor Wang when I was a graduate student at Georgetown University in 1977. It was one of the best course I ever took during my academic career and he was one of the best professors I had the honor and privilege to study with at the university. My condolences to his family at this very sad time, but they should remember that all of the people who learned from Professor Wang and whose lives were enriched by the knowledge he shared with them will be...

May Chi Wang's legacy endure forever as he contributed greatly to the enhancement of the Sino-U.S. Relationship through his friendliness and truthfulness to many here and abroad! May Chi Wang "Rest in Peace"! I each of you mourn his passing, but as is well apparent, his fine legacy surely will endure in the quest for peace and stability throughout the Asia-Pacific Region and the world to which he contributed so very much! Woody Goldberg Thoughts and prayers are conveyed to Ernestine, whose...

For half a century, he built up the elaborate collection at the Chinese Section of the Library of Congress. As a program director at the National Science Foundation, and a past president of the Zheng He Society of the Americas, Chi and I had some interactions. More recently I had the...

My thoughts in sympathy are conveyed to Ernestine and family on the passing of Chi Wang, whose outstanding legacy shall ever endure for his tremendously important service over many years to enhance the very important U.S.-China relationship! May his efforts be ongoing to create better understanding, mutual trust and respect between our two great nations and peoples! May Chi Wang rest in peace as he gave his all in what he rightfully endeavored to do and made a great difference over the years...

Chi Wang was above all a kind person, with big ambitions for mutual understanding and waging peace between America and China. We can best honor him by building on his legacy and that of his beloved wife Ernestine. With condolences and profound respect. David M. Lampton

Dr. Wang was a leader in world peace. I was honored to know Him. As I traveled to China with Him, I gained a healthy respect for his global influence. May He rest in peace knowing we will continue the journey. Major General John Phillips USAF Ret.
