Sorry to hear of the passing of Chi-Swee. She was a very nice person. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mr. Ting and family: I extended my deepest sympathy to you for your loss. Dr. Hong was my respected adviser when I worked in her group in Wadsworth Center as a post-doctor 25 years ago. She gave me many advices and guided me through my PCB research projects. After I left Albany, I still got many encouragements from her. For past 25 years, I´ve received good wishes from her every Christmas. She was always warm, generous and kind. She gave friends/colleagues helps whenever they needed....

Chia-swee fought a good fight against the ugly enemy LMS. I cherish those long telephone conversations Chia-swee and I had and those walks together in the neighborhood. Chia-swee was very kind, loving and thoughtful. Chia-swee will be sorely missed.

Regrettably that we have not been able to get to know each other within the Taiwanese community in the Capital District.
