Not sure what to say?

From the moment we shook hands backstage at The South Bank, London as a music student at The Guildhall, I knew that I could carry on in this world motivated by his kind words . . . . I am now 63

Chic played a concert at Syracuse University circa fall-winter 1974-75. I was an SU student and chair of the black student organization at the time. After the concert Chic dropped by our organization´s cafe, called "104 Below," and chatted with students. The concert itself was absolutely amazing and his meet-up afterwards was a cherished highlight of my SU days. I was just listening to a Chic Corea musical performance on CD...Thanks Chic forever brother. Mike Whack

He was a genius and a great composer!

RIP

Every few generations comes a Soul who’s perceptions & achievements are like mutations in evolution, One could rattle off a few names who have come before Chick Corea, Art Tatum, Chopin, Oscar Peterson etc but you would be hard pressed to name one since him!

Thank your Chic for starting and discovering the young members of RTF!

I would like to send my personal condolences to Chick Corea’s wife Gayle Moran and. I met them both a t The Town Hall Children's Concert on June 28 1980 (my birthday ) and she had Chick say Happy Birthday to me. ❤ I will never forget that day! I went home and wrote a song for her. Can you please forward this message to her or perhaps send me her email.. I will always treasure his music.

One of the few who never doubted his inner soul voice.
Brave heart and honest mind, hands to the matter.
Always opening new paths by only following his heart.
See you on the next one. Example to all the world......:
" never doubt yourself " all answers are inside of your sourl

His music will enter the hearts and minds of those yet to be born.
