"Gentleman" Chris Adams, 46, of Rowlett, Texas, a native of England, a three-time national and world champion in Judo and professional wrestler, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 7, 2001. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 10, 2001, 6-8 p.m., at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 11, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, Irving, Texas.

My favorite wrestler of all time he is what made World Class a class act I often watch all matches still to this day my sincere condolences to his wife and family even to this day will keep his memory alive hopefully he will be inducted into a wrestling hall of fame.

Friends for Many Years

It has been nice to read that Chris had worked on his life to make it better and that his new wife Karen seemed to make him so happy and I can certainly see he made her extremely happy. Thank you to some of Karens family for writing me, I appreciate it. Like I said, I went through years of the good times and bad, we were friends for a long time.
