I had always liked Chris. He and my brother Phil would usually always go to the stock car races on Friday nights. Chris was a "happy, go lucky" kind of a guy. I remember when they lived across the street from us and Lennie would give Chris an "attitude adjustment". So then Chris would give Max an "attitude adjustment".

I just read in the paper today Feb. 5th that Chris had passed away.We are so sorry for your loss. May the blessing of our lord Jesus be with the Carkhuff family at this time. So sorry to hear about Chris- He worked for my Husband Doug and I - did alot of yard work for our home and helped us landscape- he was a hard worker and always did what we asked and more- he went thru Cancer just like Doug did- and now they are together and knowing Doug comparing notes-remembering you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time-- will miss Chris - he was a great guy- loved his children and always wanting to help them-
