I always enjoyed caring for your father, he had a very loving, gentle spirit about him....
It was evident that he lived his life in gratitude, and in service to others....
Although I didn’t know him well, I do know that he will be greatly missed by many......

Chris was truly a gracious and humble man. I first met him when I worked at the Kellogg Foundation and he was a member of the board of trustees. He spoke to everyone with the same kindness and attention. There was no concern for title or degree or position.

What a wonderful man Chris was and he had such a sense of humor. I grew up across the street from the family and it was like having a second family. As a kid he was larger than life always with a smile on his face. Whenever I think about my childhood and growing up Chris and Betty were always in mix somehow. No longer with us but you will be missed.
